Join the campaign for a Labour Diversity Fund

I first called for the Labour Party to introduce a Diversity Fund to support people from under-represented groups like women, BAME people and those from ordinary backgrounds to get selected in an article for Labour Values back in June.

And it’s part of my contract with the Labour Party too – the pledges I have sent to all members on how I will work with them to rebuild our party and movement if I’m elected as leader.

The idea has been gaining lots of support at the hustings and other meetings I’ve been doing over the last few months – and I’m really pleased there is now a new website to promote it.

Below is my video on why I want to see a Diversity Fund and I hope you’ll back the campaign too at at www.labourdiversityfund.com:

The Diversity Fund is an excellent policy, Ed! This was what the Labour party was originally about – getting people into parliament who are not toffs and who understand what life is like for the majority of people in this country.
