Mince pies at Morley ASDA

I stopped in at Morley’s ASDA store at the weekend to hear how people around here have been affected by recent government decisions.

I know lots of people have thoughts on how the government decisions are affecting them and not everybody wants to book an appointment and come in to my office. This is a much more informal way to listen to what people have to say.

Particularly at this time of year, lots of people need a little extra advice or information. I wanted to make sure people know how to get in touch with important agencies and organisations which provide help in our area.

With just two weeks till Christmas, I handed out mince pies to shoppers getting ready for the holidays, I stopped to hear their views on recent changes to student support, child benefit and budgets for the police, schools and NHS.

In addition to mince pies, I handed out a calendar with contact details of local agencies and organisations.

For a copy of my calendar, please get in touch with my office on 0113 253 9466.
