Meeting Seven Hills Young Enterprise Club

Last Friday I went to meet the Young Enterprise Club and the School Council at Seven Hills Primary School in Morley.

The Young Enterprise Club is a great way to learn about business, and I was very impressed with how enthusiastic the young people were about it. They have really thrown themselves into the project, making flapjacks, jewellery, bats and balls – all sorts of things – to sell locally.

The money they earn goes straight to good causes abroad, so the students are helping people in other countries as well as picking up new skills.

I also enjoyed my tour of the school. I was shown around by members of the School Council, and met with the Headteacher and a parent Governor. It was clear how dedicated the Head, the Governors, and all the staff are to keeping standards high at Seven Hills.

Thanks to everyone who made it such an enjoyable visit.
