Noise reduction fence success for Tingley residents

Successful campaign to secure a noise reduction fence for Tingley residents

Successful campaign to secure a noise reduction fence for Tingley residents

Mr James and a group of local residents got in touch with me a few months back after having problems negotiating with the Highways Agency about the fence between their properties in Tingley and the M62 motorway.

Increased motorway noise and poor fencing was causing real problems for local families. So when Mr James got in touch I worked with Morley South’s Labour Councillor, Neil Dawson to get in touch with the Highways Agency on their behalf . It’s great news that our campaign has now been successful. The new fence will be going up in the next few weeks. It won’t cost the Highways Agency much more but will make a real difference to the quality of life of local families.
