Comic Relief fun at Kirkhamgate Primary School

Home baked buns and cakes for sale, a talent show and red noses – Comic Relief Fun at Kirkhamgate Primary

Kirkhamgate Primary pulled out all the stops in their efforts to do something funny for money. The whole school was dressed in red and Headteacher, Mr Waft kicked off procedings in assembly with his own unique dance.

I then joined the School Council and Chair of Governors, Sue Swift on the judges panel for the school’s talent show.

The winner, Charlotte tap danced to win first prize (and a packet of gummy bears) but we were also treated to singers, actors, musicians, dancers and beat boxers.

After the talent show we joined the queue for delicious buns and cakes and all the money raised has gone to Comic Relief.  It was a great afternoon!
